Posted on 10/03/2020
Sports are finally back and so are your weekly sports updates. Here are the highlights from the first three day of competition:

The girls soccer team opened the season at Franklin with a come-from-behind 3-2 victory. The team was led by goals from Melanie Mallari and Carmella Sordillo and 8 saves by keeper Eryn Oldroyd.

Both the boys and girls cross country teams defeated Middlesex 15-50.

The sellout crowd at Friday's football home opener was not disappointed, as the Trojans defeated South River 38-32 in overtime. Touchdowns were scored by Kenny Coghan, Jordan Sparrow, Jared Gardner, and Joel Marelis.
