The Annual Aquinas Star Covid-Era St. Patrick’s Day and Easter Egg Hunt
The Aquinas Star Committee wanted to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and also have the traditional Easter Egg Hunt for this year’s Aquinas Star Rocco DiMaggio. However, due to Covid, the committee needed to do things a little differently!
The Aquinas Star committee gathered St. Patrick’s Day treats and sent them to Rocco and his brother Carmine, along with a “Pot of Gold,” which was creatively decorated by Abby Chadwick ‘21.
For the traditional in-school Easter Egg hunt, the committee decided to send Rocco an “Easter Egg Hunt” in a box. Two giant decorated eggs (again by Abby Chadwick ’21) stuffed with chocolate eggs, money, and other Easter treats were packed into boxes and sent to Rocco and Carmine. There was even a Spiderman Easter Basket filled with superhero eggs!
Although not quite like having the Easter egg hunt in school, Rocco and Carmine were still able to enjoy their Easter Egg Hunt in a box and experience the love of everyone at STA.
