STA is the only school in the GMC to have both varsity basketball teams win the championship twice-in-a-row and only one of two to ever pull off this feat.
The team was led by senior Adam Silas, who recorded yet his fifth career high game with 37 points, not to mention 11 rebounds. With 37 points he ranks as the second-best single-game performance in the history of the GMC Finals. He finished the county playoffs with 86 points in four games, and was named the GMC Tournament MVP.
Jalen Pichardo added 11 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, and a steal while Jaden Kelly contributed 10 points, 5 rebounds, an assist, and a steal.
Head coach Bob Turco is now one of 13 coaches with multiple GMC Tournament wins.
