Senior Katie Schilp and Freshman Mary Schilp were recognized on June 6, 2018 by the Diocese of Metuchen Catholic Girl Scout Apostolate at a mass and award ceremony at the Diocesan Center.  Mary received The Marian Medal after completing the “Mary, The First Disciple” program, which serves as a reminder of the learned experience and symbol of commitment to faith, service and responsible community participation for Girl Scouts on the Cadette level. Katie received the Spirit Alive award after completing that program, which assists Seniors and Ambassador Girl Scouts in discovering how the Holy Spirit moves within their lives, calling for greater participation in the ministry of the church.  Both girls completed the programs through their home Parish at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church in Middlesex, NJ.  Katie was recognized for completing all four Diocese of Metuchen Catholic Girl Scout Programs. Fr. Keith Cervine attended the ceremony and celebrated mass along with Monsignor Michael Corona and Fr. Timothy Christy.
