This month’s lunch packing was a particularly special one, with several Felician Sisters from the Diocese of Metuchen participating as part of the celebrations for the 164th Anniversary of the Founding of the Sisters of St. Felix (Felician) Congregation, the 145th Anniversary of the Founding of the North American Province, and the 10th Anniversary of Our Lady of Hope Province. Sister Donna, Sister Cynthia, Sister Rebecca, Sister Lynne Marie, Sister Michaelita, and Sister Antonelle took part in the sandwich making along with 47 students and faculty members Mr. John Roche, Ms. Grace Alexander, Ms. Liz Savner, Mrs. Karen Furey, Ms. Lilly Acab, Mrs. Lynne Braine, Mrs. Dorothy Machovic, Mr. John Tocci, Mr. Greg Brooks and Father Keith Cervine. Together they were able to prepare 400 lunches for the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen.
