Sports Updates for the Week of 1/20

Sunday: The Girls Basketball team defeated Davidson Day (NC) by a score of 79-46. Madison Ruddy scored 19 points, Emma Boslet 18, and Kelsey Ransom 18. Kelsey also chalked up a double-double.

Monday: The Boys Basketball team defeated Executive Education Charter 53-38. Zayon Marsh scored 17 and added a double-double.

Tuesday: The Girls Basketball team defeated South Plainfield 59-25. Kelsey Ransom scored 15 and both Kelsey and Emma Boslet added double-doubles to their records.

Wednesday: The Boys Basketball team defeated Spotswood 76-38. Ernest Carter put up 15 points and Quadry Adams 14.

Thursday: The Girls Basketball team defeated Woodbridge by a whopping 92-50. Emma Boslet scored 20 points and Melanie Mallari 15.

Friday: The Girls Swimming team placed 5th in the GMC championships. Our swimmers dominated the gold medals with Senior Sarah Hardy winning the 200 IM and the 100 butterfly, Freshman Grace Neno capturing the 50 free and the 100 free, and Hardy/Neno/Sydney Zeszatorski/Brianna Dy winning the 200-medley relay and the 400-free relay.

Saturday: Two of our Boys Wrestlers placed in the Middlesex County Championships: Ryan Gagliardi in 3rd place at 120 lbs, Freddy Ramirez in 3rd place at 170 lbs, and Cristian Diaz was runner-up at 113 lbs.

Saturday: The Track team participated in the Bill Reid Memorial Invitational with Eleni Alverez placing 3rd and Lia Acosta placing 4th in the Varsity 1600. Chris O'Connell placed 4th in the novice 1600. Elizabeth Pepe came in 3rd in the novice 3200 and Gabby Toryk came in 8th for the Varsity 800!

Saturday: The Girls Basketball defeated Sayreville 58-42. Kelsey Ransom scored 19 points and Emma Boslet chalked a double-double.
