A group and several AP Biology students along with teacher Robert Herbert were recently invited to attend a Future Leaders in Science Conference in New York City. At the conference, organized by New York Blood Center, students had the opportunity to meet a variety of guest speakers who undertake research on stem cells, to tour labs, and to use microscopes. It was an enriching opportunity for this group of future scientists.
