Dear St. Thomas Aquinas Community:

We are pleased to announce that, after an extensive and comprehensive search and on the recommendation of the members of the Board of Limited Jurisdiction of St. Thomas Aquinas High School, the Most Rev. James F. Checchio, JCD, MBA, Bishop of Metuchen, has appointed Mr. Kevin Sacco as the next President of St. Thomas Aquinas High School.

In his previous roles serving the New York City Department of Education as the Assistant Principal of Foreign Languages at Tottenville High School in Staten Island and in serving our country in the United States Marine Corps along with his creative approach to relational team building in diverse settings, we believe he is suitably qualified to build upon and advance the great legacy of St. Thomas Aquinas High School.

After earning his B.A. in Classical Latin and Ancient Greek Philology from the City University of New York, Brooklyn College, he went on to earn an M.Phil in Philosophy from the University of Dublin, Trinity College in Ireland, and an M.A in TESOL & Applied Linguistics from Columbia University in New York City. Following several certifications, Mr. Sacco has also pursued his Executive Master of Business Administration (E.M.B.A.) from Fordham University.

Reporting to the Board of Limited Jurisdiction, Mr. Sacco will continue to focus on advancing our school's mission by helping to articulate vision and mission, building alumni and donor relations and focusing on enrollment. His work will complement the already good work that is a hallmark of St. Thomas to raise young men and women into courageous leaders who serve others through faith, academic excellence, and the dignity of each person.

Given his wealth of experience, education, and service, we believe his joining our mission will signal a new moment for our St. Thomas Aquinas community and will inspire a positive future for Catholic education and witness.

Please join us in welcoming Mr. Kevin Sacco to our Trojan family. May God continue to bless him, our families, and our school community.

Sincerely in Christ,

Very Reverend Timothy A. Christy
Board President

Mrs. Barbara Stevens
