Alumnae Megan Oduyela ('06) and Caitlin Oduyela ('10) recently engaged with the African American Heritage Club at an event held on April 30th. During the session, the Oduyela sisters imparted valuable insights and life lessons to graduating seniors, offering guidance on transitioning to college life and beyond.
Megan Oduyela, a 2006 graduate of Bishop George Ahr, pursued her academic degree at Rutgers University, majoring in political science and minoring in Africana studies. Following her undergraduate studies, Megan furthered her education at Rutgers Law School, obtaining her bar admission in the state of New Jersey in November 2015. Presently, Megan serves as assistant corporation counsel for the city of Newark.
Caitlin Oduyela, who graduated from Bishop George Ahr in 2010, continued her academic pursuits at Pace University. There, she majored in Public Accounting and minored in Finance and Law. Today, Caitlin holds the position of Supervising Senior at EisnerAmper, a renowned top 20 Accounting Firm.
The Oduyela sisters' visit provided a valuable opportunity for students to glean insights from their successful career trajectories, inspiring and empowering them as they prepare for the next chapter of their lives.
