Posted on 05/29/2024

In recognition of academic excellence and community involvement, the Tri-State Italian American Congress recently awarded scholarships to twelve outstanding students from St. Thomas Aquinas High School. Nominated by Principal Harry Ziegler, these students exemplify the values of perseverance, dedication, and leadership, both in their studies and in their contributions to the school and the broader community.

The scholarship recipients embody the spirit of St. Thomas Aquinas' belief that "The things that we love tell us what we are." This sentiment resonates deeply with the awardees, who have shown a profound commitment to their education and a genuine passion for making a positive impact in the world.

Principal Ziegler expressed his pride in the students, stating, "These scholarships recognize not just academic success, but the character and integrity of our students. They are true role models who inspire their peers through their hard work and dedication."

The Tri-State Italian American Congress has a long-standing tradition of supporting educational initiatives and fostering cultural heritage. Their generous scholarships will provide these deserving students with valuable resources to further their Catholic education and pursue their dreams.
