Sports Updates for the Week of 1/6

On Monday, the Boys Basketball team defeated Old Bridge 73-38. Quadry Adams put up 19 points and Marquise Billingsley had a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

On Tuesday, the Girls and Boys Bowling teams both defeated Piscataway 4-0 by over 400 pins and 380 pins, respectively. Lilah Silar led the girls team with a high series of 454. Kyle Imperial led the boys with a high series of 640 and a high game of 237.

On Tuesday, the Girls Basketball team defeated New Brunswick 70-22. Emma Boslet had 20 points and Akiyah Baker had 16.

Also on Tuesday, the Wrestling team defeated South River 69-12.

On Wednesday, the Boys Basketball team defeated Carteret 69-65. Quadry Adams and Zayon Marsh each put up 14 points, Derrick Grant had 12, and Jalen Jones had 11.

On Thursday, the Girls Basketball team defeated Spotswood 57-21. Akiyah Baker scored 15 points and Meghan Herka and Madison Ruddy had 13 a piece.

On Thursday, the Boys Bowling team defeated Perth Amboy 4-0 and by almost 500 pins. Kyle Imperial achieved two high scores for the season with a high game of 265 and a high series of 711. Brandon Cangialosi also bowled his highest score ever of 209.

Also on Thursday, the Wrestling team upset last year's division champion Spotswood  57-21.

On Friday, the Swimming team won against South Plainfield by a score of 103-67. Winning events included the relay team of Sydney Zeszotarski, Bree Dy, Sarah Hardy, and Grace Neno, which won both the 200 Medley and 200 Free relays; the relay team of Dominic Lawas, Sarah Many, Sean O'Leary, and Jack Hulsart, which won the 400 Free Relay; and individual winners Sarah Hardy in the 200 IM and 100 Fly; Bree Dy in the 100 Breaststroke; Grace Neno in the 100 Free; and Sarah Mandy in the 500 Free.

On Friday, the Boys Basketball team defeated Middlesex 77-58. Zayon Marsh scored 18 points, Derrick Grant 15, and Jalen Jones and Saivon Pressley 10 each.

On Saturday, the Girls Basketball team defeated North Brunswick 64-40. Emma Boslet scored 20 points, Meanie Mallari 14, and Madison Ruddy 12.
