Elizabeth D'Addio '05 Leads the Way on Hydrogen Fuels
Posted on 02/21/2023
D'Addio (pictured on right) is currently heading up a project for Air Products in Arizon to establish a facility that will produce hydrogen fuel, an alternative to gas and oil fuel. Burning hydrogen as fuel does not give off greenhouse gases like gasoline does. The facility is being developed near California, which is planning to ban gasoline-burning cars by 2035. Hydrogen fuel production was the topic of her PhD dissertation and research.
