Aquinas Gymnastics Team Triumphs Again, Securing GMC Championship

The Aquinas Gymnastics Team has once again proven its excellence, clinching the GMC Championship with a stellar score of 110.85. This achievement marks a repeat victory for the team and Coach Brant Lutska's 17th GMC Championship, contributing to STA's impressive tally of 22 GMC championships overall.

Outstanding performances by the team members resulted in several individual medals, showcasing their exceptional talent and dedication. Notable achievements include Supriyha Moore's victory on the vault and floor exercises, Nina Sangiuliano's victory on the bars, and strong showings on the beam and in the all-around category.

Receiving medals for the Aquinas gymnasts were:

Vault: Supriyha Moore (champion), Allie Pompliano (3rd), Olivia Donato (4th), and Jenna Cerchio (8th)
Bars: Nina Sangiuliano (champion), Allie Pompliano (4th), Olivia Donato (5th), and Jenna Cerchio (6th)
Beam: Nina Sangiuliano (3rd), Allie Pompliano (4th), Jenna Cerchio (5th), Supriyha Moore (6th), and Olivia Donato (7th)
Floor: Supriyha Moore (champion), Olivia Donato (2nd), Allie Pompliano (4th), and Jenna Cerchio (10th)
In the all-around category, exceptional performances were delivered by Allie Pompliano (3rd), Supriya Moore (4th), Olivia Donato (5th), and Jenna Cerchio (6th).

This achievement is a testament to the dedication, hard work, and talent of the Aquinas Gymnastics Team and Head Coach Brant Lutska and Assistant Coaches Amanda Cleveland-Miller, Sam Obolsky, and Indira Pinckney. The entire school community is proud of their success and looks forward to their continued excellence as they move on to the GMC Novice Championship on Wednesday, October 25, followed by the NJSIAA state tournament.
