The Aquinas Gymnastics Team has once again demonstrated its unparalleled excellence by clinching a back-to-back state sectional championship in its 23rd consecutive appearance under the guidance of Coach Brant Lutska. With a remarkable season-high score of 111.45, the team continues to assert it dominance in the world of gymnastics.
In an exciting turn of events, the team has earned the #2 seed and is set to advance to the NJSIAA Team Championship, where they will vie for the title of state champions. The championship will take place on Wednesday, November 8th, at Brick Memorial High School.
Furthermore, the top 6 finishers in each event have secured their spots in the NJSIAA Individual Championship, set to unfold on Saturday, November 11th, also at Brick Memorial.
The standout performers who have earned the privilege to represent Saint Thomas Aquinas at the State Individual Championship are Olivia Donato, Nina Sangiuliano, Jenna Cerchio, Supriyha Moore, Shelby Reno, and Allie Pompliano.
