It's always the season of giving at STA, but even more so around the holidays. Thanks to the generous donation of students, families, and faculty members, we were once again able to donate large amounts of turkeys to FISH in Piscataway and non-perishable food to the St. Vincent de Paul Society Food Bank in Perth Amboy.
On Monday, November 20, a group of students along with Fr. Mike Tabernero and Director of Campus Ministry Mr. Mike Lewon personally delivered the non-perishable foods to Perth Amboy and spent the morning unpacking and shelving the food. The employees of the food bank stated that the donations were enough to provide for over 250 families, the biggest donation that it has received so far this Thanksgiving season.
