Join us in congratulating the recipients of the Excellence in STEM Scholarship Award for the 2024-25 academic year: Julianne Perez, Brianna Mercado, Victoria Aldridge, and Sofia Pedroso. This award recognizes these students' spirit of courage, perseverance, and innovation that they have demonstrated as junior STEM leaders. Their academic achievements, leadership competencies, and passion for pursuing their interests in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math make them exemplary role models for others.
This award, sponsored by alumna Dianne Yurek, includes a grant to offset tuition, quarterly coaching meetings with accomplished women leaders in the STEM field, and opportunities to mentor junior STEM students and serve the community.
We want to thank Dianne for her unwavering support of the mission of St. Thomas Aquinas High School, which continuously strives to illuminate the lives of its students, particularly in the field of STEM. We also congratulate these outstanding students for their contributions to STEM at STA.
