International Student Information

Thank you for your interest in applying to St. Thomas Aquinas High School as an international student.

The following application must be submitted in its entirety BY APRIL 1, at which time the committee will meet to determine acceptance as an international student for the following school year.

International Student Application

Additional requirements:

  • Personal interview with potential student
  • Entrance exam for incoming freshman must be taken
  • Placement test(s) to determine course level


If a student is accepted they must provide the following:
 

I-20 Information:

  • If prospective student is already on an F1 visa and has an I-20, this will need to be transferred to St. Thomas Aquinas High School.
  • If prospective student DOES NOT have an I-20 and needs one international student coordinator, Ms. Christina Ricciardi (cricciardi@stahs.net), will have additional forms to complete
  • As per the Department of Homeland Security, a copy of a bank statement, showing proof that the student’s family has the necessary funds to support their child while studying here is needed
Personal Information:
  • Student's original birth certificate
  • Letter from parent, guardian or the prospective student requesting consideration of acceptance
  • Official guardianship papers if current guardian is not the parent
  • Immunization records are required and must be translated to English
  • Meeting with host parents upon acceptance

Please note that St. Thomas Aquinas High School is not responsible for finding a host family. Students are responsible for finding their own host families.

Please also note that we do not work with agencies.

St. Thomas Aquinas High School reserves the right to determine grade level when accepting students.
